Glass Prisoners 1...

Okay, so I will be doing this thing here on the Glass Prison blog, I will be posting up images and sketches of different prisoners of the Glass Prison. Now bear in mind these are all or at least most of these creatures that will be featured on these type of blogs will be background characters, so while you will see them in the comic they aren't the big time players in the story. A lot of these end up being either discarded memories or feelings that the main character, Jason, at one time may have had and has become distorted within the Glass Prison. This is still a fun blog to do, to show some sketches and ideas behind all the various creatures in my story.

Though if you end up liking one of these guys a lot, I could give them some panels or interactions with Jason. And be sure to let me know which ones you really enjoy, share with friends as well and if you are really super cool, draw some fan art based off these guys! I would love to post them on this blog that way people can see them and you can show you've been with GP from the very start. It would be really sweet to see that.

So with that said, let's get Glass Prisoners started...

Shark-face: A lot the names come from other inmates, so when you happen to be a grey fish looking man with tons of razor sharp teeth, you end up with a name like Shark-face. While not the strongest monster in the cells, Sharkie here will bite. Which gives him a great advantage, and with a big sharp smile on his face most of the time, he knows no one will mess with him. A thug who will use his abilities to get in with the bigger groups in the prison, and his love of violence and blood makes him a suitable member of the Legion of Pain.

All the Wardens are looking for recruits to their armies and luckily for Pain he has found a violent hungry predator. Though Shark-face will soon find out that when you join the army of Pain, it goes both ways and he will be getting some violent looking upgrades.

Third Eye Blind: So as you know from the earlier profile, there are gangs and factions gathering power within the Glass Prison. And everyone is always looking out for themselves in the long run, what benefits me. And so is the story of Third Eye Blind or TEB for short. What ended up happening is TEB here joined very early on with Pain, as means of protection and muscle. Later, he figures he doesn't want to go through all the pain and damage that comes with joining such a rowdy crew, so he decides to rat out and try to join Indulgence's crew. After all they always are looking for informants.

However, when applying to join the Society of Secrets, Indulgence is annoyed at how little he knows, he is absolutely useless. So he gives him a third eye as "gift" which ends up making him blind, all he can see is darkness now. The black eye is a mark that Indulgence is done with you and marks you as useless. A bullseye for bigger monsters who are looking to squash some rats.

And yes the name is very similar to that band name, you will notice quite a few pop culture references in the Glass Prison.

Well that's all we got for today guys, but be sure to let me know what you think so far. Which of these two monsters did you like more? Leave a comments below and be sure to follow this page for more Glass Prison updates. Tell your friends and spread the word, trying to reach as many people as I can with this page, so any and all help is very much appreciated.
